About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Now that I've conquered foreign transit systems, I want to live with greater courage and kindness every day. My mission is to look people in the eye, to read for pleasure, to dance every time there's good music, to learn to cook a proper steak, and to say "I love you" when I mean it.
ABOUT ME
I recently graduated with a degree in philosophy from St. John's College in Annapolis, MD. All the time I've spent reading leaves me itching to travel and talk to new friends.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in giving of yourself vulnerably and generously. The opportunity to connect with other people and love them well is the most powerful human experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The world is wide and various, and there's no better way to experience it than by sharing our stories and spending time in someone's home. I was lucky enough to have seven amazing hosts as I spent five weeks backpacking through Europe last summer. These generous locals taught me how to cook celery root, toast in Hungarian, sing Austrian folk songs, dance like you would in a Turkish club, and feel another person's aura. Now it's my goal to pass along their hospitality by meeting and hosting fellow travelers.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm an appreciative guest who knows her way around a kitchen. If you don't have a kitchen, I can also teach you the entire dance to Michael Jackson's 1982 hit "Thriller." I've found that both food and tacky 80's clothing have a way of transcending all cultural barriers.
