About Me
Hi Everyone!!!
I created my account about one year ago, but never completed my profile.
So, this is me:
I am mexican girl living in San Francisco since 2014. I work in the city as Au Pair (type of Babysitter but much better haha) but I lived before in Easthampton, Massachusetts with my first Host-family taking care of two lovely children. I do the same in California. My year is ending in August of 2015 but I lived awesome experiences in both sides of the country.
I studied Tourism and hospitality in Mexico, fortunately I had the opportunity to come to USA to experience the culture, meet great people and made real friends, become part of in the life of my host kids and travel during my stay.
I am from the State of Jalisco in Mexico, but I can tell I grew up in Colima and Ciudad Guzman, Jalisco. I am still learning the language thou I can keep a conversation in English. Soon I am coming back to Mexico not before travelling to San Antonio and Florida. I have plans to visit Argentina, Peru and Colombia for one month right after my contract expires with my agency.
I have two younger siblings and my family lives in Mexico. I love my culture and country.
I pursue a career in the travel sector with any cruise line. This is my goal and dream for my future 2 years. I hope I can get there!!!!
I expect too meet up nice people here with similar interest. By the way, probably you understand now the reason I can not host travelers in my house.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to check it out the web site and find someone who would like to help me to find a place to stay while my travel in Peru and Argentina. Moreover, traveling is an experience to live with new people and friends, therefore I don't enjoy to much scheduled trips by tour operators and would be more interesting learn and live the culture with a local. Besides due I am an Au pair and for salary reasons, is not affordable to pay for private lodging.
Interests
I am very outdoor person and I consider myself like sporty and sort of adventurous girl.
I am into running, jogging, bicycling, hiking and swimming (someday I will learn surfing). I like to learn thru the cultures, learn languages, explore new towns, cities or attractions, I enjoy art and appreciate the architecture of the place, hospitality business, tourism marketing. More personal interest is my faith in Jesus Christ, I like to share with others about God's love and mercy. You don't need to feel uncomfortable with serous conversations about religion.
