About Me

Hi everyone! I was born in the Bronx, New York City, but my family is from the Caribbean. I've lived in NYC for the first 18 years of my life, until I graduated from high school and began to attend Princeton University. I have tons of crazy and fun-filled stories, adventures, and experiences that I would be more than happy to share with hosts/travelers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to take time away from university and travel the world a little bit to gain new experiences, live adventurous, and absorb the stories of others. By no means is my family rich, but I worked a summer job in China that allowed me enough funds to travel. I'll be traveling until January, which is when I'll return to school.

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet amazing people along my travels, listen to their stories and dreams, and share mine. I'm also extremely passionate about helping other people, so whether you need your roof fixed, want to practice English, or need help chopping wood, I'm your guy. My skill set ranges widely, and I would love to work with non-profits or volunteer nearby if available!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Tough one, I listen to almost everything. Totally depends on my mood. I've also been a DJ since I was about 15, so I have varying musical tastes. Mainly I listen to Caribbean music, Spanish music, Rap music, African music, and Indian music, but don't limit me to those.

Movies - Definitely Inception - it's about a guy who learns how to gain control of dreams, and discovers the endless possibilities within them. I won't tell you how it ends though - you'll have to watch it and find out!

Books - Another tough one, but I've gotta go with a not-so-well-known one called The Other Wes Moore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't think I've ever gone a week without helping someone (at least as far back as I can remember), which means a lot to me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a ton of things - cooking, English, how to play baseball (and American football, and basketball), philosophy, math, geography, how to repair things, construction, and so much more!

I would love to learn of the experiences of people in the places I'm visiting, and what their dreams are. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to help you fulfill it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My smiles, jokes, experiences, knowledge and wisdom. I'm also willing to donate some of my clothes (not really underwear though - kind of need that).

Countries I’ve Visited

Barbados, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Timor-Leste (East Timor)

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
