I'm Vid and I am a twenty-nine year old based in London. I'm originally Indian but I grew up moving around a lot so I've lived in Indonesia, Mexico, Argentina, South Africa, and the UK.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing mainly to meet locals and other travellers while travelling but also while at home in London. I really like using the Hangouts feature on the Couchsurfing app and have met a lot of interesting people through it.

Interests

I am interested in music, film, and current affairs (not very original, I know). My favourite music genre is probably hip hop, but I'm also a big fan of rock music. My favourite film directors are Frank Capra, Alfred Hitchcock, and Stanley Kubrick.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Right now I can't say I have a very unique taste in music. I've pretty much been listening to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. According to last.fm the other artists I listen to a lot are Eminem, Vampire Weekend, and Elvis Presley.

Movies: Really haven't been watching many movies recently though when I was younger I was quite the film buff. Some films I've watched in the last couple years that I really enjoyed include Ladybird, Avengers Infinity War (much better than Endgame in my opinion), and Mission: Impossible - Fallout.
