Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Even before becoming a member of CS I spent a great deal of time sleeping on various couches. For instance my older sister's couch and also couches of friends and relatives all over the world. Infact, I didn't live in one place for more than a year from I was 16 - 29 so I am grateful that I have had so many friendly people in my surroundings who have always helped me out when I needed a place to stay... Now I have finally settled down and live in a house with my husband and 3 sons! Settling, however, doesn't sound right to me since things are always VERY busy here... In a good way though :o) We love to host people from all over the World!

Música, películas y libros
Anything with a good plot or tune. I read a book a week and I watch as many movies as I can. It inspires me to "live the dream" and never forget how lucky I am...
Algo increíble que he hecho
I have run 15 marathons - most of them in capitals of Europe, but also one in Canada and one in Hawaii. Whilst in the Air Force I had the exquisite oportunity to fly an F-16 inverted - and I was the one holding the stick! Also, I have listened to lions roar in close proximity in the beautiful South African bush during a long bush trail with some amazing people from all over the world - people with different backgrounds and stories to tell. I have been to 48 of the states in the US and have met some awesome people throughout my journeys. One of my travels included a visit to the Grand Canyon where I had lunch with a close friend on a tiny rock 4,500 ft above the rocky abyss below me. Another was with my boyfriend, now husband, Peter, which included driving 11,500 km across Canada. This way we saw close to everything there is to see east of Saskatchewan (I later did the westcoast roadtrip with a girlfriend of mine) and amongst other experiences we SO enjoyed the wonderful variety there... The awesomest roadtrip I ever did! I have so many memories and highlights that I will never forget, but hope to tell my kids one day... Latest: Giving birth to my three wonderful boys is a journey that will never be surpassed!
Enseña, aprende, comparte
My family means everything to me! My oldest son Bastian (born in 2007) says the funniest things and my son Sander (born in 2009) used to walk like John Wayne and he's so clever he can outsmart both his parents:oD The youngest is my cuddly Karl (born in 2011), he is a real charmer.
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
I’d love to hear about your life and tell you about mine if you want to hear it. If you need me to be quiet and not bother you, I can do that as well. I’ll try to be the best possible surfer :-)
