I am a Lithuanian guy, who studied and lived in UK for almost ten years now. I am usually quiet and a bit shy, even though it is sometimes hard for me to admit it.
I usually travel with my lovely partner Lina. We are calm and friendly couple. Both of us are easy going and like to be in nature (even though Lina is afraid of bugs).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like learning new things and getting to know people. I am mostly on couchsurfing for the same reason as Lina – to get to know your culture from inside, not from a hotel room. We want to be travellers, who learn about the world, instead of tourists, who just relax in fancy hotels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did bungee jumping twice – once in Greece from the bridge above Corinth canal and once in Italy with Lina from a crane platform (tandem jump).

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you to make some traditional Lithuanian dishes – cepelinai (meat wrapped in mashed potatoes), saltibarsciai (cold pink soup), bulviniai blynai (potato pancakes with meat or without) and some others. Also, I would love to help you to improve your English and teach you more about Lithuania and UK.

I am all about learning new things. Please, teach me to make your traditional dish (it could be a traditional in your country or in your family, it doesn’t really matter). Also, I am currently learning some Chinese, so maybe you could help me?

I would love to share all I know about the world. I would love to tell you stories about my and Lina’s travels (we both shared some trips and also used to travel separate).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to cook you some meal and I am pretty sure we will have some sweets from our country (or at least the last country we visited). I also, could offer some stories about my trips to Greece, Morocco, Italy (the place me and Lina met), Lithuania, UK and so on.
