Overview
About Me
i am an artist and a mother, a daughter, a friend, a healthy living advocate, and an open mind and heart. my son and i live a quiiet and simple life in Siauliai - "the city of Sun" -a relatively small Lithuanian town of 100 000. our life is mostly made of schools, art, music , all things tasty and green, endless camps in the summer... most importantly - growing a little everyday alongside an 11 year old who sprouts in giant leaps every day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
we enjoy having guests from all over the world. meeting travelers is second only to traveling, and so we treasure every visitor...and...finally after 7 years of hosting others, we had our first Couch Surfing experience as travelers last summer: unbelievably rich 11 days in Israel!! second voyage coming up this may to the UK. cant wait to meet you, my amazing friends - i don't know you yet, but it will be a gift to get to know you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
....this must be , without a doubt - delivering a new person into this world and seeing how he becomes, despite all - a unique individual
more...growing a plant, painting, knitting a sweater, baking a cake... helping a person change their life...oh, wait! - change my own life several times with two trans-Atlantic moves, becoming a mother, then -a single mother, building a business, getting "the diagnosis" and learning to live with it ...oh, there is so much.... life is just one amazing thing after another.
Teach, Learn, Share
"Consider others more important than yourselves" - this teaching explains the "love your neighbor" rule at a challenging level: every day, small things : who gets the last parking spot? can your child teach you a thing or two? who wins the argument? what about this neighbor who always complains about everything!!! - is she more important too? - well, consider her!
man, this builds character...!
What I Can Share with Hosts
i think every person is a book. to discover these real stories those life's lesson's learnt - is a treasure. that's why i love deep conversation, life's poetry and prose, philosophy ,and humor...i can also leave a recipe or two
