About Me

I've been serving in the army for 15 years, and I've been happily married for just as long. My wife and I have two boys, aged 3 and 7. My hobbies include computer games, drones, archery, RC cars, and anything related to technology and active outdoor pursuits. I used to be heavily into sports as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a Couchsurfing participant because I enjoy connecting with people from around the world and sharing experiences. It allows me to meet new friends, learn about different cultures firsthand, and create memorable experiences both as a host and a guest. Couchsurfing provides a unique way to travel and experience local life, which I find enriching and rewarding.

Interests

I'm deeply passionate about technology and enjoy diving into various aspects of it, from computer games to drones and RC cars. Exploring these fields not only satisfies my curiosity but also allows me to keep up with the latest advancements. Additionally, I find joy in outdoor activities like archery, which provides both a mental challenge and a chance to unwind. These hobbies reflect my love for both innovation and active relaxation, balancing my interests between cutting-edge technology and engaging physical pursuits.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music spans a wide range, from classic rock bands like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd to modern electronic and ambient music that helps me focus during work or relax after a long day. When it comes to movies, I'm drawn to science fiction and fantasy genres, particularly epic sagas with intricate plots and stunning visuals. Some of my favorites include "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy and "Blade Runner." As for books, I enjoy science fiction novels that explore futuristic concepts and alternative realities, such as works by Isaac Asimov and Philip K. Dick, which stimulate my imagination and provoke thought about the future of technology and society.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done is completing a marathon after months of dedicated training. Crossing the finish line was an incredible feeling of accomplishment and perseverance. The journey taught me the importance of discipline, mental toughness, and setting and achieving goals through consistent effort. It was a realistic yet deeply fulfilling experience that continues to inspire me in other aspects of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

"Teach, Learn, Share" is a mantra that reflects my approach to life:

Teach: I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experiences with others, whether it's teaching a new skill, explaining a concept, or mentoring someone. Teaching is a way to pass on what I've learned and help others grow.

Learn: I am always eager to learn new things. Whether it's exploring a new hobby, delving into a different field of study, or learning from others' experiences, I believe there's always something valuable to gain from every situation.

Share: Sharing involves not just giving, but also receiving and connecting with others. It's about exchanging ideas, stories, and perspectives. By sharing, we build relationships, foster understanding, and contribute to a richer, more interconnected community.

This approach encourages continuous growth, fosters empathy, and promotes a collaborative spirit in both personal and professional interactions. It's a mindset that encourages curiosity, generosity, and a commitment to lifelong learning and development
