Overview
About Me
I've done a few road trips around and across America which is primarily how I've engaged with other Couchsurfers. I love to explore, meet new people, try new food and wine, and write (check out my blog letoutthewild.com). My simple pleasures include nice water pressure, a reasonably priced bottle of wine, and a well-placed hammock. Since I'm traveling right now I cannot host anyone but once I am settled I am sure that will change. I am a pretty good cook and I'm not a needy guest at all. I'm just as happy using the couch and exploring the city alone than I would be if you were to hang out with me the whole time - it's totally up to you!
Thanks for reading!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Someday I hope to have a home to invite guests into, but for now I am mostly on Couchsurfing to find a place to stay during my travels. I love engaging with people; eating food and sharing stories with each other, but I'm very much a "read the room" type person (meaning if you leave me alone I'll do my own thing, but if you want to hangout I'll be receptive to that as well).
Interests
Experiencing new things. Meeting new people. Having good conversation. Learning about people, the world, myself.. or anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had a near-death experience in South Africa when I fell during a hike/climb of Table Mountain. I willed myself to safety by telling myself "your mom will be very upset if you die on this trip."
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a good cook (I normally use a lot of garlic... keep that in mind).
