About Me
Hello. Thank you for writing me.
Last year I forgot to update my profile in coachsurf and went traveling in China were the app is blocked, that's why my response rate is so low.
My name is typical Italian but I'm not. I am French-Italian! My mother from France and my father from Sicily. I have always spoke fluently both languages.
I've grew up in Palermo, and I come back there regularly in between two trips but probably I can consider my home base Milano.
I've studied 3 years in Palermo Mediazione Linguistica (Linguistics) + 1 year Erasmus in Poland, then graduated and kept travelling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During the last moths of travelling I've developed my way to travel.
There are things I consider acceptable and things I do not. I do not like comfort. It's fine for me sitting 20 hours in a bus or walking kms alone in a desert street. On the other hand it is NOT fine sleeping in a private room of a hotel\hostel or going alone to a restaurant, even if i can, I do not.
I prefer hanging out with locals, I feel a true traveller. That's why I like last minute tickets and of course CS!
Everytime it's a new adventure and it almost always pay back. I think it's the essence of travelling, and travelling it's the essence of living!
-be a giver, not a taker-
Interests
I really like chatting, I was used to tell my life to every single person and write a lot on facebook. Now I reached the point I prefer listening (and not posting), so my first interest is you all!
But there are a few things that always come back in my path: Melbourne Shuffle, Digeridoo, Electronic Music, Literature, Trekking, Hiking, Psychology and Languages.
Probably in this list are none of your interest but this is because these are the most personal ones. There are plenty of things I find myself passionate to talk about.
- literature
- perfumes
- dancing
- beer
- walking
- partying
- traveling
- music
- electronic music

Music, Movies, and Books
Okay let's give some examples.
Music: Flow - Dub FX. This guy create all his songs -live- by using only his voice and a loop station. I've seen him live and it was totally amazing. I have this song on my phone and I often listen to it.
Movies: I have a complicate relationship with the visive entertainment, generally I try living real experiences instead of watching them on a screen.
Books:
Emotive Intelligence - Daniel Goleman
The power of now - Eckhart Tolle
Be here now - Ram Dass
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I managed to cross from one side to the other the Qlimax party, 37 000 people dancing, with 4 beers.
