I'm Vini, a Brazilian exchanged student living in Canada for a year. I'm a Graphic Design student looking for meeting places and people from all over the world :) Looking for real experiences, not touristy stuff.

I've started studying Graphic Design in 2011 in Brazil and since the middle of 2014, I'm talking courses at Kwantlen Polytechnic University as an exchanged student in Metro Vancouver, BC - Canada. Since my first day here, I knew it that I've found "my place". Unfortunately I have to go back to Brazil and finish my program in almost a year. My plan is to work and save money to apply for a Canadian Citizen ASAP. I love how Canada is open minded for immigrants and gay rights.

I'm from Maceió (google images: https://goo.gl/lumChx), a gorgeous city in northeast of Brazil. Since I was a kid, I was always going to the beach and having some fun with my family and friends, so I do have a sort of connection with the ocean/water.

I'm a friendly and peaceful guy who is always trying to make connections everywhere and anytime. I'm always down for a coffee and talk.

I'm here on Couchsurfing looking for meeting people and places. Everybody has a different background and it makes me thinking in a different perspective.

Interests

I've worked with webdesign as an UX designer planning the whole digital experience in any digital service (websites and apps). Moreover, I have calligraphy and typeface design as a hobby. Arts and music in general get my attention.

Movies: I'm not a "movie person" but I do like it. I just prefer watching TV Shows (Orange is the New Black, Rupauls Drag Race, How I Met Your Mother, Game of Thrones). I should say that I love Studio Ghibli's movies.

Also since I was a kid, I love Japanese animes (Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, Sailor Moon [all seasons], Card Captor Sakura, Pokemon).

I've lived abroad for over a year and it's been my favourite and unique experience.
