Hey, there!

I'm Violeta from Bulgaria!✨ I'm currently on a trip that will probably take a few months or years, so I won't be able to host for the time being:)

I'm someone who loves life and considers it beautiful, and rich in colour both in its ups and downs.

I've haf quite a lot of experiences, expecially given my relatively young age.

Ive been traveling for since July 2024, and for that time i crossed the US east coast to west coast by land for about 5 months, and i just finished my European trip from Italy to Svalbard (the world's northernmost inhabited area) which took another 5 months. It's been about 11,000 miles of buses train and looots of hitchhiking (I hitchhiked all the way from Denver to San Francisco, and also quite a lot in Europe).

Right now im doing the 4 Rivers bike path in South Korea, and I also want to cross Asia from Japan all the way back to Europe.

Before travelling, I was an international competitor in Computer science and Quantum Computing worldwide. I've been to lots of competitions (hackathons) around the world. By the age of 19, I was already working for a nano satellites company, and after that i even became a snowboard instructor, worked for a cybertech company and lived by the seaside in my own campervan, so what a life it's been so far! 

I'm financing my travels by being an online private Math tutor and also an English tutor (DM me for more info). All I need is just a quiet place (the floor/bed or a library nearby should work perfectly fine!), ideally with WiFi, so let me know if you know of any place!😄

I'm super flexible when it comes to plans and sleeping arrangements, and I can adapt to your schedule:D

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

It seems more exciting to meet people this way, but also Couchsurfing is the thing that makes it possible to travel safely on a budget.

It's incredible how far you can go just by sharing. I absolutely love sharing when I'm hosting myself, but also, it's so sweet when people that host you want you to experience life through their lenses. On top of that, I would have never met the people who inspired me to travel myself if it wasn't Couchsurfing on the first place.

I absolutely love this platform and community 🥰

Muzyka, filmy i książki

I mainly listen to jazz (Lizz Wright, Melody Gardot, Madeleine Peyroux), blues (Hugh Laurie, Alberta Hunter) and swing. Also a bit of classic guitar, folk music. I am also a big fan of Guano Apes which are my "must-have" while snowboarding, and Maneskin which is my eccentric pop-self.

Well, that's definitely not that amazing, but it's a highlight of my life - I ran 100 km (~62 miles) in 18 hours when I was 15.
