About Me
Hey there! I'm Vishal Pawar, a passionate solo traveler and a Travel & Tourism student at IITTM Goa. Exploring new places, meeting amazing people, and diving into different cultures is what truly excites me.
I believe every journey is a story waiting to be written — and I love being part of those stories, whether through shared meals, deep conversations, or simply walking through unfamiliar streets with a curious heart.
I'm easygoing, respectful, and always up for meaningful connections and cultural exchange. Whether it's learning a local recipe, hearing about your traditions, or just swapping travel tales — I'm all in.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m a 23-year-old student with a deep love for travel — not the touristy kind, but the kind where you experience a place like a local. That’s what really inspires me. I enjoy meeting new people, sharing stories, learning about their lives, and discovering places through their eyes.
Couchsurfing gives me the chance to connect with locals, make real friendships, and understand different cultures in the most authentic way possible. It’s not just about finding a place to stay — it’s about sharing experiences, moments, and memories with people who love travel as much as I do.

Music, Movies, and Books
🎵 Music Lover at Heart
I'm deeply moved by soulful music — especially songs like "Adiye" from Bachelor, "Parayuvan" from Ishq, and almost every track sung by Sid Sriram. I'm also a big fan of energetic and stylish tracks from Allu Arjun's movies, which always lift my mood and inspire movement.
🎬 Cinematic Inspiration
Movies are a huge part of my life. I admire high-energy, emotionally powerful films like KGF Chapter 1 & 2, Salaar, Pushpa, and the visually stunning Brahmāstra. These stories fuel my imagination and passion for storytelling and travel.
📚 Always Learning
One of the most impactful books I’ve read is Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. It opened my eyes to the power of mindset and goal-setting, and I often draw motivation from its lessons.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At the age of 19, I completed a solo hitchhiking trip to Goa, covering over 1,100 kilometers purely through the kindness of strangers and the spirit of adventure. It was one of the most liberating and eye-opening experiences of my life.
This journey taught me not only about places, but about people — their generosity, stories, and the beauty of human connection. It shaped my passion for solo travel and deepened my love for exploring the world in the most authentic, local way possible.
