About Me

My name is Viviana. I am Chilean and I have lived in different cities since I was born. I spent most of my adolescence in Iquique, in the north of Chile where I could enjoy the sea and nice dunes too. I also studied my career there. After I finished, I moved to Santiago where I applied for the Au pair program to USA. I stayed in Connecticut and Virginia for 2 years and it was a wonderful experience. I met nice people that are still my friends and I keep in touch with my host families as well. Since I returned to my country I have spent my days in the south of Chile. First, in Cobquecura where we can find a beautiful coast and good waves to surf.
Nowadays, I live in Estaquilla, Los Lagos region. I came here this summer with my boyfriend, we like life in nature so this is an incredible place with awesome landscapes to build our dreams of bio-construction and sustainable life. We like sharing, talking and doing things that contribute to our time and spirits. We are relaxed with schedules so if we have a plan and it doesn't work, there are many others we can do. We love animals, we have two dogs. We also like cooking and tasting good recipes. I don't eat meat, my boyfriend does.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of sharing ideas and ways of life. I also like listening and learning new perspectives and I think Couchsurfing is a perfect way of getting this. Besides, meeting new people is a good way of traveling with the mind and see places that I don't know yet. Couchsurfing is a good way for us to have a nice and cheaper traveling experience.
