So for that its really convenient to speak about some reference or some interesting point of your possible future host, common music, common trips, or just curious about why do you prefer something, or just speak about something nice of her/his profile.... This begin to think that you are working in the future convivence and how joyfull could be : ) . SO check his/her profile in detail : ) If not, if you do just a typical easy "copy-paste" could be a good reason for denying to you. A good idea could be : Introducing yourself, where are you from, why you are in spain,etc ... (you can write directly : This is copy paste ) Speak about you want to be hosted by you (you can write directly: I read your profile and now I will tell you why i would like that you host me : ) ) * This is not a hostel, so you have to think what could you offer to the future host for interchanging the time with him/her and her/his time . Maybe its good a idea offer a gift, making a dinner, or some souvenir from your country ... You can offer clean the kitchen, or to help in something... I dont know this is free style : ) Just imagine what would you like to receive from somebody who is your guest :). * FurtherMore if you have not reference, normally the people dont trust so much, so you can open your cs recently and just try to meet with somebody, in some cs event and try to ask for some personal reference ... Its not necesary to host or to be the guest from somebody, but at least your future guest or host will have more information from a third person about how you are. * By last, try to ask for 2 or 3 night like maximum, later maybe both (host and guest) could be confortable together and maybe the extra daysof hosting just come up automatically : ) * Remember, nobody pays us, there are not close rules , we are people , just think how would you like that your guest were , how would you like to live this experience...
