My name is Vivin and I am from central Illinois but currently live in Nashville! I love to travel and I think meeting people in different places is the best part about it! I currently work for a nonprofit that serves refugees and immigrants in the U.S., so in a sense I have applied my passions to my career. :) I have been eager to try couchsurfing for a long time and I hope to meet great individuals around the world!

Our worldview is continuously expanded through interactions with others. Traveling allows you to see other places but you cannot truly understand the culture of a city or country until you have communicated with those who live there. Couchsurfing allows me to travel like a native!

I spent one summer volunteering in rural India as an English Teacher and it was a life-changing experience. I met so many wonderful people who had the idea of helping others in mind.
