I work from my home in the creative industries, and specialise in neurodivergent representation, access and inclusion in the Welsh arts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet groovy people, share stories and put something good out into the world in whatever small ways I can. I consider it travel by proxy; learning about the world and different cultures, perspectives and personalities through the people I host at home. Being a single mum can be a bit lonely- but not for me- I have the pleasure of making new friends all the time and my life is never dull with such interesting people filling it.

Interests

Music, photography, art, poetry, spirituality, the cosmos, philosophy, saving the world, laughter, nature and landscapes.
I don’t cope well with social chit chat, instead tending to dive straight into personal questions and deep topics.
Most of all I love learning new things. All of it! It’s why I’m here above all else.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, all of it. There’s something to appreciate in all genres. I listen to music most of my waking day and have a very low tolerance for TV. Apart from documentaries. I live to learn. I read a lot for this reason. Non-fiction, obviously. I work in the film sector sometimes so I’m into movies, but I’m not watching them for fun or in the same way most people do. It’s a long time to sit still for, in my world.

I can teach you how to unleash your inner artist, writer or photographer… share my in-depth knowledge of autism, ADHD and ‘the social model of disability’
I am open to surfers cooking here, using the art materials and playing with the piano, guitars and other instruments in the house.
I have tons of local and national knowledge helpful for travellers who have yet to decide their itinerary’s or unsure of travel arrangements.
Proficient technically with apple and mobile app based stuff and access to an (old but good enough) iMac here for travellers without laptops or mobile internet, who need PC access.
