About Me

I am originally from Chisinau, Moldova, currently living in Richmond, Virginia. I am multi-lingual, like biking, and play a few instruments. I have recently graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in international relations. I really enjoy meeting people, learning about other cultures and long conversations about history and art. :)

I alos play in two bands in Richmond, VA.

The first band is called Zgomot (Romanian for 'noise'). Zgomot is a mix of art punk, free improvisation, Balkan folk, and Slavic rock 'n' roll, where we put poems of Russian futurists to music. (https://zgomot1.bandcamp.com/)

The second band, Yeni Nostalji, original Turkish Pop Band, heavily influenced by the vintage soundscape of Turkish and European pop radio from the 1960’s, 70’s and 80’s. Yeni Nostalji’s sound is often described as a mashup of Bossa Nova, 60’s French pop, and modern indie pop ballads.
