About Me

Interview about couchsurfing on the local television:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNnQS3mhdJA

I start to get a lot of requests from surfers without a reference and without any information in their profiles. Not even the request shows some more respect and arent personal at all, just basic information: "that and that day, can you host?"
Just to let you know that im NOT WILLING TO ACCEPT such requests anymore. I know that when traveling, there often is not much time to write a nice personal message. Thats why you should at least fill in your profile. Otherwise, im sorry.

It's a pitty that i had to start the part about me so negative and i'm sorry for that. So let's get back to topic - If you read my name, you could get the feeling that i am rich, but i have to disapoint you.
It's just my real family name that i share with my father and my fathers father and so on. Now, when you know that i'm not any kind of self-important millionaire, i can tell you even more. :)

I'm a simple daydreamer and chronic optimist. Trying to enjoy the little things like a small child and make wise decisions like an old philosopher. A romantic soul with the heart of a rebel.
I value friendship and freedom the most, but don't like to be tied by pointless orders and restrictions. And i wouldn't be able to be like this, if i hadn't a strong base in my faith in something above us. I was raised to call it God, but for a lot of people the name can vary (karma is very popular these days) although we still believe in the same.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first thoughts were, "i can possibly save money on my trips, so let's find out some more information about it".
But it has more advantages and until i really used this site to save some money on my trip, i met a lot of extraordinary people in my own home. Thanks to couchsurfing, the whole world is knocking on my door and even though i have few possibilities to travel, i learn a lot from other parts of the world.
