My name is Vladimir Vasilev and I am from a mid-size city Pleven in Bulgaria. I currently live in Nurenberg, Germanh where I do my exchange semester.
I have worked as an entertainer in Sunny beach, Bulgaria where I met people from all around Europe.
My hobbies are playing/watching football. I like sports in general. I have played in many school and interschool football and handball tournaments and competitions. My favourite football teams are Levski Sofia and Manchester United. My favourite players are: Georgi Asparuhov-Gundi, Wayne Rooney, Eric Cantona, Ryan Giggs, Zinedine Zidane.
I love travelling! I have visited few countries. What I like the most about traveling is meeting new people from different cultures. I am also interested in architecture and local cuisine.
I also love traveling across my country. In Bulgaria there are a lot of places worth visiting, unique atmosphere and remarkable architecture.
Other thing I really enjoy is listening to music. I do it all the time, does not matter if I sleep, study, work or travel. I prefer genres: house, deep house and progressive. Consequently I love Electronic Music Festivals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was told about this site by a friend who was in USA and she used Couchsurfing to find a place to stay three nights in New York. I really liked the idea of Couchsurfing and I think that it gives opportunities to make new friends, to see new places. In general I am on this site because I love adventures.

I have interests in traveling, listening to music and playing/watching football. I love dogs, particularly the big ones. I have a labrador in Bulgaria. I am also interested in visiting gym and everything about gym.

I listen to all kinds of music. Most of all I listen to house, progressive, pop, R&B. Favourite artists: Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Avicii, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Carl Cox, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, , Kanye West etc.; My favorite vocals: Lana Del Rey, Emma Hewitt, Sade.
I love comedies, although my favorite movies are dramas: Cruel intentions , It`s all gone: Pete Tong. My favorite actors are: Reese Witherspoon, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matthew McConaughey, Jim Carrey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everyone has goals and dreams in life. If I accomplish one of them it means I did something amazing-this is my philosophy. I can proudly say that goal number one is accomplished. When I was a kid my father told me about his dream: visiting Niagara falls, about its magnificence and beauty. I watched it on TV, on YouTube, read about it. Seeing this miracle of nature became my dream as well. And the moment came in 2013. I called my dad from there and he got really emotional. For many people this is not something special but for me it is more than amazing, one personal win! I accomplished one of my dreams.
