ABOUT ME

Music. Film. Creativity. Exploring inner and outer space. I'm very passionate about these things.

I have been playing guitar and bass for about the last 10 years, and have played in a few bands over those years. I also create music with digital software. I love watching films, and I love making them too, although I have yet to create anything serious. I love to read, and to learn. I'm very interested in the natural world too, so I'm not always passing the time in front of a screen, or a book, or with an instrument in hand.

I've studied recording arts, which is the broad field of capturing, manipulating and creating sound for artistic purposes.

I'm only starting to explore the world, and for many years to come I will travel as often as I can and for as long as I can afford to.

As for my personality...

At times I can be shy, but I'm not afraid to be outgoing, at all. I tend to be a little too polite, but it's not like that has ever gotten me into trouble. I'm respectful and open minded, but I can be very strong minded (opinionated) sometimes, too.

Humanism, freedom, respect, critical thought, rationalism, cynicism (true cynicism; look it up in an encyclopedia if you're confused), and pragmatism.

Interests

Other than reading, watching and listening, I enjoy taking walks, biking, ice skating/ice hockey, and general fitness. I also love cooking, and learning new recipes and knife techniques. Adventure, exploration, exposure to new things and new people are also very great things.

I can teach people how to make the most out of their sound recording equipment. How to play guitar or bass. I'm technically savvy, it just comes easy to me, so I can generally lend a hand when it comes to learning software, or solving problems.
