ABOUT ME

There are two of us. I am Scott and Kelly is Kelly. Scott enjoys reading US History, listening to old radio shows & movies, gardening, rural walks, likes to travel, dance and is currently creating a photography show. Has adaughter, Kat, who introduced us to couch surfing. An Aging in Place advocate in Vermont and a motivational/humours speaker. He likes to talk. Kelly likes to hear about history and enjoys reading just about reading anything else. She loves dancing, cooking, gardening and all the standard country life pursuits. Painting, sewing and designing are leisure interests.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe life is a gift, our time is brief and once we are gone what remains of us is that portion of ourselves we have given to the world and the beings that occupy it. Oh yes, and fun; like any gift we should enjoy it.

Johnny Cash, Leon Redbone, Chayanne, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Zydeco, Louie Armstrong, Norah Jones, Katie Meluha, Latin music, & good old rock 'n roll. Books about presidents, Churchill, 1929-1960, and stuff that makes me laugh or think.
