ABOUT ME

Hey My name is (Peter) Eric and I was an English Teacher living in rural Japan but I recently came back home to Ireland so now I'm job searching, I'd love to meet up with people and hang out or explore Dublin or Kells. In the summer I love to go hiking and camping on the weekend so if you are interested in such things I'd love to hear from you. My main sport is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu so if you want to come and stay and train in my gym you are also very welcome.

I have couchsurfed a good bit and I have only had very positive experiences. I also enjoy hosting a lot.

Movies: I enjoy war films, rom coms the odd time, Pixar flicks, documentaries etc etc. I like Kubrick, Errol Morris, I love going to the cinema and if you stay with me i'll probably bring you to the ifi, a cool art house cinema in dublin.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Cycled from Budapest to Dublin on a Track Bike,
Toured the Balkans with a Friend,
Cycled the Ring of Kerry(also on a track bike),
Got teargassed and chased by riot police in Hungary (not my fault though:)
Got refused entry into serbia for some stupid diplomatic mess up
Travelled through Brazil
Just finished making up my bike, the one in the photo above
Came first in a 25meter sprint when i was 12 in my school's sports day ha ha
Lived in Japan for three years.
Hiked Mt Fuji twice.
Encountered many many bears in Japan whilst Hiking
Scuba Dived with Giant turtles in the dark.

Insegna, impara, condividi

Well I can talk at length about certain parts of History, I'm very interested in Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union historically wise. Also the gulags and the armenian genocide are topics I take a keen interest in. I'm not sure exactly what my specific skills would be but I suppose I know a lot of random bits of information about a lot of different things, I love cycling and Hiking so I could take you on a Hike in the northern Japanese Alps as long as it isn't raining :) I can also teach you Ultimate Frisbee and other stuff etc etc. I am very interested in Health, fitness, DIet Mental health etc. and I love MMA
