Hi there, it's Wal here! I'm a young musician from the South of Italy. Always passionate to try new things and experiences, and to know foreign countries and cultures. And languages too! I'm a composer. I play mainly guitar but I am a multi-instrumentalist so I can play a bunch of other instruments (bass, piano, bouzouki, mandolin etc...). I really like animals (I have two cats, Triss and Yen) and I'm quite decent in cooking. I'm vegetarian, trying my best to help animals and to reduce pollution. I also like to go somewhere in nature, surrounded by green, and a bit of nerdy stuff such as books, and videogames and table games. Beside that I also love to workout every week and spend time with persons I love. Also into politics and human rights. I'm quite open-minded and I really think freedom must be a goal for everybody: more respect and love, less hate and prejudices. My strange addiction is to visit abandoned places. Last but not least, I'm quite a good drinker of red wine and good beers. Cheers!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I want to travel and save some money lol, and I want to help others to do the same thing. Plus, I know some interesting spots in Apulia, so I can help you visit this amazing place and its countryside. I hate mainstream tourism, so I want to offer to travelers a local perspective on the place and some hidden gems that are not famous but that are beautiful. And I really love to practice my english or any language you want to teach me!
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I'm musically omnivorous, so it's quite hard tell what I like the most. Mainly I have periods, but I listen so many different stuff that I'd sooner tell you what I don't like. Books: For sure I have a particular love for Tolkien's work, for Dostoevskij, for Dickens and for Umberto Eco. I freaking love some graphic novels and comics, especially satirical ones such as Rat-Man by Leo Ortolani. Movies: Fun fact: I watch so much few movies. I'm more a tv-series guy tbh (GOT, Black Sails, Sherlock, Fleabag, Stranger Things, Strappare Lungo I Bordi and many more)

I played ukulele and sing to help a bunch of scottish guys getting some money to get some weed in the streets of Oxford. True story.

I can show you some good spots in Apulia, surrounded by green and nature. I can teach you to play something on guitar or ukulele! And I can tell you interesting stories about our local folklore. I'm open to learn everything, depending on my mood and my lazyness of the moment!
