To learn as much as I can about the Spanish language and culture before embarking on a massive South American adventure

ABOUT ME

I´m English but grew up in a small town in central Scotland. I´ve also lived in Australia and Spain so I like to think I'm a mixture of all four.

I studied International Business at uni, and I´m fascinated in learning about different cultures and meeting people from around the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I remember shortly after graduating uni I was on the phone to my Dad and he said to me, "Never stop learning". That really hit me, and I guess my personal philosophy would be just that: To always be learning something, and to have fun while doing it!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When i first heard of couchsurfing a couple of years ago, it seemed perfect for me as i love meeting people from all over. However, i couldn´t really participate as a host, because my last two houses(in Edinburgh and Brisbane) have each had >6 residents hence we always had loads of people visiting, and barely ever a free couch!

Now that i am travelling i am looking forward to the opportunity to surf and meet lots of great people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm relatively new to CS, but all my experiences so far have been great, meeting some wonderful people!

兴趣

Travelling, learning about different cultures, countries, people. Music(i LOVE live music), cinema, almost all sports (football, rugby, tennis) especially adventure sports - my favourite hobbies are surfing and skateboarding. Love the great outdoors but also love the buzz of the city.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Seeing AC/DC, Rage Against the Machine, Slash and Aerosmith in the same weekend at Download Festival 2010 in England.

Doing a bungee jump and skydive in the same day in New Zealand.

Travelling Spain for 6 months, living in a tent about 90% of the time, surfing and learning Spanish.

I have taught / teach surfing, skateboarding, rugby, English and Spanish.

I´m willing to learn anything you wanna teach me :) Love learning about different cultures and recently got the buzz for learning new languages.
