About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm on a journey to push myself climbing and travel the west! I'll be exploring meditation, yoga and look forward to all the serendipitous meetings of new people along the way.
ABOUT ME
I'm a climber from Georgia and am on a road trip! Have been working in Cody, WY for the summer and looking to climb in the Tetons, Lander, and Yosemite. My current trip is finally realizing my dream to travel the west climbing. It's incredibly freeing to have such open plans and the potential to explore both nature and myself. Climbing has introduced me to some of my best teachers, friends and experiences, as well as been a wonderful teacher in and of itself.
PHILOSOPHY
Spiritually I look forward to learning more about Buddhism and learning more about others philosophies. I've been developing the mindset of spinning everything in a positive light seeing every day as new potential.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm new to couch surfing but have heard great things. Most importantly... Venturing out and meeting new people through such an open forum!
Interests
Well... Obviously I climb. I'm a yoga neophyte but improving along the way. I slackline as well and have studied film so that's another interest of mine. Sundry others: biking (don't have a bike on this trip though, it won't work out on my car), crossfit, Buddhism, swing dancing (getting back into it!), sharing stories and learning about new things.

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh. My favorite movie of all time is The Matrix. Not much TV goes on for me besides The Walking Dead. I'm currently reading a Path With A Heart - a great primer on meditation. Ernest Shackleton's South is a great account and example of the most driven and durable men I've read about. More: The Rock Warrior's Way, Tuesdays With Morrie.
Musically, I listen to an eclectic mix: Daft Punk, The Black Keys, Phoenix, Bach, Loane, Jack Johnson.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Through climbing I have found reasons to travel to new places and experience a profound kind of adventure in the vertical. The most amazing and impactful climb I have done was in Squamish, British Columbia, climbing 1000 feet up a rock face called The Chief.
Teach, Learn, Share
The most important thing for me to know is that I have so much to learn - about anything! Even climbing, the topic I have spent four years exploring, is a sport I am sure I have only scratched the surface of.
One thing I know for certain is I can become more worldly by reading more in the news and educating myself on global events. I look forward to sharing any of my climbing knowledge as well as film since that was my major in college.
I'd like to learn more about yoga, physiology, and anything spiritual. The last few years have been the beginnings investigating the spiritual.
