About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Resisting, and living in Sicily

ABOUT ME

I'm quite smyling,talkative and sociable.

I'm always hungry to discover new things, overcoming my handicaps, or lack of talent.
I am Human rights' defenser and jurist specialised in migrants'rights, English and French teacher, interpreter, dance lover.

PHILOSOPHY

I TRY to live as if I was going to die the day after, missing as less as possible opportunities to enjoy good moments: funny, serious, alone, with friends or family, strangers, whatever...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I started to go at some meetings in spring 2010 and summer and came back within the community, last summer.
I went for a drink couple of times with surfers in Marseille, give some advises from time to time when requested. And I surfed, quite a few times. I was part of the Polyglot weekly meetings in Toulon, south of France until november 2014

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been hosted several times these last 3 years:in Amsterdam, Tours, Sarajevo, Budapest ..It was great so I WANT to get many more! I hope to be able to host soon,..

I had already traveled with people I did not really know before and had loved it: when I was an Erasmus student in Norway, traveling with a guy I hardly knew, and being hosted by one of his friends,or when I was hosted and welcomed by an entire family in Dakar, for 10 days..

Interests

What I like in life is to enjoy as many as possible different experiences: meeting all sorts of people, with all sorts of occupations, personalities, origins, tastes; discovering new musics, different forms of arts. I love going to some exhibitions, and shows (particularly dancing, as I have been practising some myself for many years, but aslo theatre, concerts...)
I also love hiking and other outdoors activities..(cross country skiing)
But as all of you, I suppose, what I love the most is to travel,DISCOVERING all that you can discover in a country (foreign or not) alone or in a small group ;for the moment I have mostly travelled by train..

Music, Movies, and Books

so many and so many to discover...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, that's a difficult question.. I have enjoyed these last years, some of my experiences were amazing for me, but might be quite normal and uninteresting for those who have travelled more, or are simply older...I guess and hope I have much more to see and experience!! I was hosted by a very nice family in Dakar, during the World Social Forum in 2011 (these two things were amazing), I met activists in Moroco, participated in an art project in Drôme in France, picked olives in Sicily with a very funny guy, taught English to italian people, and now.. well..I'am doing so many things that I prefer to tell you when we meet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to share stories and experiences: to hear from others, tell my own ones, make some comments, ask some questions...
