Overview
About Me
I live in a small apartment close to the heart of Portsmouth, a town I love. Much of my free time is spent advocating for solving climate change, most particularly by pricing carbon, reforming transmission line permitting, expanding the use of electricity, and adding more trees. I am also a student of Tantra and active in the local UU church.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This is a very special community full of people who are enjoying what life has to offer. Each person I have met has shared wonderful stories of experiences I would never have gotten to on my own.
Interests
I really enjoy cooking and having others to cook for. As I am single most of my meals are for myself and quite simple. While I enjoy taking photographs, I am not very adept at doing anything with them.

Music, Movies, and Books
Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen, Voulez Vous by Abba, saxophone, most particularly Jan Gabarek
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitch-hiked across the country and back when I was 18, probably not all that adventurous in this community but it was at the time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about climate change, its impacts, and the politics. I am optimistic and focused on empowering others to learn about solutions and speak for the government's role.
At 77 years old, I have a ton of stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Time and appreciation, primarily. If I can educate or be educated so much the better.
Countries I’ve Visited
England, Ireland, Mexico, Netherlands
