PHILOSOPHY

I'm a positive sort of person and I believe that everything will be alright in the end. Like they say, if it's not alright it's not the end. It sounds like a bit of a cliché, but what can you do if it applies to me?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was a member of Hospitality Club for four years before joining CS, and I've had many nice experiences and encounters thanks to HC. And when my friends in Tampere have guests, I go and have dinner with them. :)

Interests

One of the many is historical dancing (Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque) and making historical costumes.
I'm also a fan of Jane Austen novels, films adapted of the books and everything related.
Besides historical things I like art, photography, handicrafts, Finnish sauna and winter swimming, baking sweet things, cold and snowy winters, Christmas time and watching films alone.

Music, Movies, and Books

I seem to like Danish music a lot: Carpark North, Mew, Dúné. :) Anything a bit melancholic but still kind of happyish pop. My favourite movies are Howl's Moving Castle and Four Weddings and a Funeral. Books that I've enjoyed reading very much include the Harry Potter series and The Lord of the Rings.

I can show you that baking good cakes is not difficult! My speacialty is chocolate cake with strawberry sauce. Baking can make a perfect ending for your dinner party.
