Hi! My name is Will. I own about 80 acres of property in southern Oregon on which I've founded an intentional community. It's called the Birdseye Creek Community and it can be found on the Fellowship for Intentional website. In addition to running this community and being involved in some agricultural projects on my land, I do carpentry/landscaping/handyman work and sell firewood in the fall and winter months.

On the artistic side of things I'm mainly a musician - I've been in a number of groups and played solo in a variety of genres. I play jazz, classical, and pop/rock piano, folk, rock, and jazz guitar, and I compose and record.

I'm also a freelance writer. I've done a lot of online writing work in the past and I currently write for a local newspaper in southern Oregon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My girlfriend Julia and I are traveling to Westerly to see an amazing band called Rubblebucket. If you don't know them, you owe it to yourself to check them out! They're playing at Paddy's Beach Club in Misquamicut in early August.

Also we may be able to get some couchsurfers in at my community - the Birdseye Creek Community. I'm not there at the moment but I can put you in touch with the people currently in charge. If you're going to be in southern oregon and need a place to crash feel free to contact me!
