HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I am not currently living in a place with space available. I hope I can visit and share my culture with everyone. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I still haven't utilized this site, but I have surfed many couches in my travels. I am continually surprised at the hospitality I have been shown across America. In Las Vegas, I was served a ribeye roast and the host made a huge pitcher of martinis, I have never seen that much booze at a family gathering. In L.A., I was shown the city, had the most interesting meal of my life, and experienced the best medicine cali has to offer. In Detroit, I was brought to the Greek side of town and gambled, and ate. Key West introduced me to my first clothing optional bar while New Orleans introduced me to my first clothing optional street.

The best thing I may have ever done was climbing the "Stairway to Heaven" or "Haiku Stairs" on Oahu, Hawaii. A mile of forbidden stairs up a steep mountainside through rain and fog, all at 4:00am. The view at the top is often cloudy and anticlimactic, but getting together some friends, sneaking into a neighborhood and running from the guards (you are legally trespassing)is one (two!) of the best times I've had in my life.
