ABOUT ME

Beginning a journey; isn't it the greatest feeling? Bags packed and ready for whatever comes tops my list of favorite anticipatory moments. I've only met a few folks through CS but in each instance they were wonderful and certainly grew my love of stepping out into the great big unknown- knowing I have neighbors everywhere.

My summers are filled with Rope swings. Once upon a time my summers were filled with Youth Pastoring and later bar tending- go figure. Now I just dabble in a bit of each, albeit, separately. :)

I speak to schools and enjoy transcendental days in Vermont.

Winters are filled with Skiing, Snowshoing, camping and igloo building. (www.grandshelters.com)

Chopsticks are my favorite eating utensil.

Summer of 2006 in Hong Kong changed my life (que long inspiring story) Lets just say, the best things in life are free, Including freedom and I would have loved to have known about CS then.

"CS" as most on here know (I assume) is Couch Surfing. . . I also use the acronym for "Colloidal Silver" . . . . What is Colloidal silver? Do you think it could be something useful that I technically can't tell you about? Have you ever had a Surfer who makes it?

My views tend to be very independant of any party, political religious or otherwise. I enjoy risk, living dangerously and driving with my jeep doors off. I struggle with firm schedules but appreciate good organization.

To date, I've 5 encounters where death should have been imminent. (That I'm immediately aware) I believe it signifies that I am forever pushing the rpm's of life or perhaps that I should be more cautious? Seldom will an adventure this way sent, be rejected.

PHILOSOPHY

Jesus is my homeboy and travels with me everywhere though will not be requiring additional sleeping arrangements. Jesus once said you should be willing to forgive a man 7 x 70 times, in a day. I probably would not- once or twice a month is my ceiling but that's why I bring him with.

Pious people make me uneasy.

I wanna know what you think about this big spinning ship we're lucky enough to explore together.

We have now. If you don't like your life, change it with what you have. Even if you "Have nothing" you have "now" to do something. I want my understanding and empathy to grow more than my waist line, this decade.

Like Goldfish, we cannot see the water but I try to anticipate it.

Ladder 49, The Last King of Scotland, 300, Blood Diamond, Of Mice and Men, The Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption, City of Angels, Rain Man, Whats eating Gilbert Grape,Secret Window, Click, The Secret, The Notebook. Any kind of music... Bluegrass, Folk, Rock... Not a big rap fan really. Great book. "Walk accross america" and "China on the Lam" Bill Purves walks accross the peoples republic of China... this is a hard book to find. If you have it, please bring it when you surf my couch. haha, I really want to finish it.

the greatest lessons are dirty dolls and hugs you depart from with intentions to return.

I have one material object that represents to me, the value of every non material thing.
