ABOUT ME

We are a simple family who is trying to reduce our footprint on the Earth. This is a path not a goal. Joining CS is just another step along that path. We do not engage in "Greener than thou" conversations. This does not benefit the cause and generally causes people to feel like if they are not doing everything possible they should not do anything at all.

Part of simplifying our lives is trying to reconnect with more simple social interactions. Meals at home with friends, card and board games, and conversations by a fire are where we are trying to lead our entertainment events.

Taking advantage of all the resources close to home and sharing those with travelers is another. This is a beautiful place worthy of taking the time to get to know.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the amazing things I have discovered recently is the Country Fair. This is an annual event where hippies get together to show their wares and celebrate their talents. Music, art, and food are all mixed together in a huge event. You can spend all the money you have or enjoy the experience without spending any money once you get in the gate.
