About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world from different perspectives and find new friends and companions along the way!
ABOUT ME
I have recently left my job as a Resident Director and Student Affairs administrator for the University of Kentucky. I am relocating to New Orleans, Louisiana on or around July 20, 2012.
PHILOSOPHY
It is important to see the world from different perspectives in order to understand your own place in it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As I am moving to New Orleans, Louisiana with neither friends nor family in the area, I am hoping to meet new and interesting people to experience the city with.
I am a quiet guest with a small footprint, just looking to change the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None to speak of, but I am excited to have an opportunity to meet new people and either help them feel at home in my country or to find adventure in theirs!
Interests
I am interested in film, literature, music, other cultures, good food, eventually learning to CREATE good food, roller coasters, learning, and enjoying my journey through life while only being a grown-up when required!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have lived in or visited most of the United States! It is an amazing place! There are so many different types of people, different accents, and different stories to be found here!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am excellent at navigating the American system of Higher Education! I can help you adjust to university life, decide on a major, find good places to eat, and translate confusing University-speak!
If you are looking at the University of Kentucky and want to experience it before you make concrete plans, feel free to get in touch!
I can also quote (too) many obscure 80's comedies, and I have a memory like a proverbial elephant as far as peoples' stories go!
