About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Experiencing wonders of the world
ABOUT ME
My name is Xilin and I am somebody you want to get to know. Honestly I have a spectrum of diverse experiences: Basically, I considered Sanming, a small town in Southeastern China as my hometown. However, I was born in Sheffield, England and stayed there until I was four. Then I came back to Guangzhou,China with my parents and spent the rest of my life there till coming into college. Now, I am a college junior studying finance & economics in the University of Texas.Woo-hoo!
Such experiences offered me different perspectives of the world. I have broad interests from scuba diving, irish whistle to playing violin. Everyday I try to find things that can arouse my interests. Plunging into new areas you never know before is always interesting and engaging--and that is always my belief! Now, I am eager to explore more beautiful places in the world and appreciate the beauty nature afford us.
Despite my openness, I am a pretty conscientious guy. I have a reserved schedule, keep jogging three times a week, make my room clean everyday and always get on time. People find it easy to get along with me that I am always punctual, considerate and nice--no bragging!
So, I am eager to know more people with different interests. Always passionate, curious but cautious, I am experiencing the vastness of the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is to experience and to appreciate.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I read some articles on a tourist magazine and found it a great idea to meet new friends and have a deeper understanding of various cultures by couchsurfing. What's more, as a college student, I have tons of holidays to spend on travelling, which is another reason I wanna join.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It was totally awesome! I couchsurfed in four different countries: United States, Mexico, Peru and Netherlands. All three hosts I met were personally pretty nice, easygoing and helpful and really made me enjoy my stay at those cities! will definitely go on try couchsurfing again!
