Hello!

My name is Meng. I have taught Chinese literature for six years at a key high school in Chongqing, China, and possess extensive teaching experience. I have received numerous national and provincial awards for my teaching and research, and have built a solid reputation locally. I furthered my studies in "English Teaching" at the University of British Columbia in Canada, which refined my teaching methods. Currently, I am also an online Chinese language teacher. If you are interested in Chinese, I would be very happy to share China's culture with you and teach you simple Chinese conversations.
I hold a Master's degree in Chinese Language Education from Southwest University. I have a passion for drama and have founded an original drama club, organizing students to write and perform quality plays each semester. If you are interested in drama or arts, we might have some common topics to discuss.
My hobbies are diverse, including Latin dance, traveling, music, baking, playing the harmonica, and more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am passionate about drama and founded an original drama club at my school, organizing students to create and perform outstanding plays each semester. Our club even participated in an annual cultural and arts festival organized by the Publicity Department of the Chongqing Municipal Committee and was named "The Most Creative Club of the Year" by the magazine "Inside and Outside the Classroom."

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an inheritor of the Chinese intangible cultural heritage—Ciqikou paper-cutting. If you are interested, I can teach you the simple art of paper-cutting. I can also cook Chinese dishes and play some simple songs on the harmonica.
