2018 : Hitchhiked London to Singapore.

As a traveller, I don't measure by the numbers of countries I have visited. I go by cities/towns.

They say "travel will change a person". It did for me, but not as the flowery glossy traveller social media portrays. We are no longer in Marco Polo's era. We are living in a world full of corruption, fascism and capitalism. When you have travelled extensively, you will realise that "travel IS political".

I champion for Palestinians' liberation and I will not host Pro-zionists. Begin your request with "Free Palestine".

Allow me to introduce myself before you ask me "So you are from Malaysia?"

If the Malays are from Malaysia, then who are indigenous to Singapore? The Chinese? That while being surrounded by neighbouring brown people countries?

Being the majority does not equates to being indigenous. Look at Australia. Heh.

The Malay sultanate existed throughout the Malay Archipelago from 15th century. Sorry to disappoint, but the Chinese are not the natives on my Mother's land.

They tried to erase my identity by being "multiracial" and the problem with "multiracial" is that ..the World only has 1 image of Singaporeans :
"If you are not Chinese, you can't be a Singaporean because your prime minister is Lee Kuan Yew."

Why choose me as a host?
If you are a hitchhiker or a cyclist (bikepacker), I am the host for you. I will let you choose where you wanna go and what you wanna eat. I am totally fine if you dont feel like meeting up because you need to rest from exhaustion. Just let me know your agenda. I was once a slow traveller, I understand you. I don't do fancy things and lead a very simple life. I do not mind being a free hostel to actual travellers/musafir.

PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO HITCHHIKERS/CYCLISTS ONLY, who are on current mission of a world trip. Other than that, write me up a good reason. In the midst of moving to a new place, so I will host you at a hostel I work for (FOR FREE) and will meet up whenever we are free for dinner or something. Free and easy. More importantly, rest well and BE YOURSELF.

Just hoping to pay back all the kindness I've received from people I met on my travels.

Also to note, best to send a request not more than 2 weeks prior your arrival date. I dont plan what to wear to work tomorrow, whats more what will i do in a month. Also because I will feel uncomfortable having to cancel to host you, after confirming your request, due to some emergencies/circumstances.

Too many!!!

- Cliff jumping in Chiang Mai, Thailand & Jogjakarta, Indonesia.

- Paragliding in Jogjakarta, Indonesia.

- Ziplining in Pakse, Laos.

- Gondola ride over deathly waves in Jogjakarta, Indonesia

- hitchhiking at -15 degree celsius in Munich, Germany to Salzburg. Almost turned into Asian ice sculpture.

- wild camping in Spiez (1 night) and Interlaken (2 nights) at around 2 degree celsius. cos a hostel cheapest there is around 25euros at the time I was there.

- Dumpster dive in Bern, Spiez and Interlaken. Cos a bowl of Macaroni is about 15euro.

-Being Asian hitchhiker in Europe. HAHAHA
