I am a professional Dancer. Kuchipudi is the dance form I practice which is a south Indian classical dance form. "I dance to travel and I travel to dance." That's like my motto. Will only accept requests if you have read my entire profile, if you're not creepy and clingy, if I am around and if I am in a good mood. By the way, I love sleeping. If you see me sleeping all day long sometimes, don't judge me. I am either dancing too much or sleeping too much. If that's a problem to you, I am not for you. If I really like you, I will do anything to keep you happy all day long. Trust me. I am a very exciting person if you're exciting and full of energy. I write nice letters to my guests every morning and slide it under their door. I love to start their day and my day in a sweet manner. That's how fun I am. I am a free thinker with strong opinions. Generally, my take on life is very fun and serious at the same time. Meaning, my goal is very serious but the means I use to achieve it is very fun. That's how I am pursuing my passion towards Indian classical dance. I am a strict vegan and I feel very proud of that accomplishment. I am not very religious...maybe spiritual. I do not know because I do not waste my time in defining myself a particular way. I love living in the moment. I love doing deep conversations. I like to preach people regarding my experiences. I love lecturing people somehow because I started teaching at a very young age (at the age of 12) and this has become so much of a habit to me. I am not very romantic and cheesy. Basically, not the typical girly girl. Very bland and straight forward. I am young at age but a sage at heart. If that makes any sense... I am doing distance education because dancing and traveling are my first priorities.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
To meet new people....and interact with the local people for a complete experience. To get some travel help and advise. To make memorable connections and experiences. I am a professional dancer and I don't make a lot of money and at the same time I love traveling as well. Couch surfing solves the money factor in the traveling aspect. Nevertheless, I love people who love traveling. So yes!
Music, Movies, and Books
I love Western and Indian classical music but I don't mind listening to other genres as well. My favorite composers are Schubert, Brahms, Tchaikovsky and Saint Thyagaraja. I love period films....dark historical romances. I love European films very much. They are my first love. As per books I love historical fiction but I do read all kinds of books. I love Russian and French literature. I love books which are based on an empowered female protagonist. I love tragedies or plots full of struggle and tension. I love tearjerkers!

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach dance and singing....maybe a little yoga. Been teaching dance for 7 years. I can teach Telugu, a south Indian language. I can teach south Indian cooking but I am too lazy when it comes to cooking. So don't expect that from me.

My Interests
I really love different kinds of culture and the folklore. I am this person who loves to cultivate various skills, tastes and interests. I want to be this complete person. A very very passionate and profound person when it comes to life in general. I am not at all into pop culture though I listen to a few songs sometime or the other. I love cultures which are unique and thought provoking. I just don't get the current pop culture and the monotony. No offense, people! I love Micheal Jackson and ABBA very much though. Obviously I prefer bars or pubs to clubs because that music puts me off and makes me feel very depressed.
