About Me

I'd say I'm a normal 28-year-old German guy,
interested in traveling, snowboarding, hiking, doin some crazy stuff like cycle ball or Mountain biking and of course as a typical German: enjoying a beer and parties or simply a BBQ on a lake 😁
What else is there to say? You don't have to laugh about my jokes, cause I do.
I give my best to be open-minded and friendly in all situations, to change the stereotype of the grumpy beer drinkers that the Germans are supposed to be.
I'm interested in other cultures and appreciate all kinds of local food, so I am in no way concerned about having a great time when meeting all the different people on couch-surfing and traveling around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is one of the best opportunities to meet some locals and see what their life is like. I really don't want to do just the tourism stuff and want to hang out with the "real" people, which is a hell of a lot more fun.
So if you have some of those insider tips, I'm all ears :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to music on a daily basis and can't go without it! But please don't ask me to define which genre :O
I like a lot of different music styles, so much so that my Spotify algorithm can't handle it and starts to suggest the most random things. I apparently listened to over 150 genres last year, according to the Spotify recap... I didn't even know that many existed.
Got an awesome mixtape on Spotify though!!!
Called: Awesome mix vol. 1&2

Books and Movies: Can't really decide on anything. It's like my taste in Music: a bit of everything, I guess?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess playing cycleball is kind of special, since seemingly nobody ever heard about it.
And my brother and I own a self build tandem bike for 8 people. (a really large tandem bike!)

And then there was probably the best time of my life so far: spending almost a year in Canada and traveling all along the west coast from Vancouver up to Yukon and even into Alaska. I saw so many surreal, incredibly beautyfull places and met many lovely people there.
Now believe me or not: in Read Island (one of the very first stops in Canada) I paddled in a kayak with around 60 dolphins for 2 hrs. All for free and out of pure coincident, thanks to Woofing and some amazing hosts. Can't describe it with words! But one of the Best days of my life, for sure!

Teach, Learn, Share

I wanna learn about all the cool stuff to do and which are the most badass places where you live.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my sunny mood and teach you unecessary german words or other stupid things.
I'm pretty sure hanging out with me is hilarious for everybody involved.
(talk about laughing over your own jokes...)
