Overview
About Me
I'm currently a wondering soul exploring the world after getting sick of the monotony and stress of living in the city and losing myself to a soulless job. I love experiencing new things and cultures and the more of the world I see and languages I begin to learn the better.
I grew up in London and got a degree in Middle Eastern and South East Asian History and Politics and love seeing live music, going on long walks, and spending time with those I love most. I've practiced ITF Taekwon Do for 13 years and currently hold a third degree black belt in it. I love to cook, sing and dance and have interesting discussions with interesting people.
I'm a vegan (but please don't hold that against me!) and very passionate about certain issues, but I really don't go on about it too much unless you're interested in hearing about it :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet nice people and explore places from a local point of view
Interests
I love music, going to gigs, making things, exercise, walking (everywhere!), learning anything and everything and meeting nice new people. I am very passionate about politics and grassroots activism, but I won't bore anyone with that unless prompted :)
Angry music and nature are the best things ever.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love punk, rock and metal music amongst others and my favourite bands are At The Drive In and Propagandhi.
Lolita, Fish Story, Pride and Prejudice (new version) and the Lord of the Rings and Star Wars trilogies rank among my favourite films.
I read a lot of fantasy books and am currently battling through the Wheel of Time series.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Gained my third Dan black belt in ITF Taekwon Do
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always interested in learning as much of other languages as possible, as well as local culture, music, arts and crafts etc. I can teach some crafts such as knitting and baking, and taekwon do if you're intersted!
Sharing stories, experiences, food and laughs is a priority!
