About Me
Yo yo yo,
Hello everyone, I am Yekta 22 years old, university student. I was always planning to travel abroad when I get retired. Then I said life is not long that much and went to university exchange to start exploring the world. I have been to Singapore first and then to Korea. I have been travelling far east countries so far and it totally worths it.
Travelling without getting in touch with local people is just sightseeing. It is contradiction to nature of travelling I believe. You can do it by just sitting your couch and watching a documentary about that country. The point is meeting new people there and of course tasting the local cuisine :)
Life is short, travel more and widen your world!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling without getting touch with locals is just google mapping. You can look to images of a place rather than just flying all the way. What makes travelling special is meeting local people and experience the very true culture. I also like to stay at hostels to meet new fellows but a traveler also misses home environment at some point.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacking Vietnam from south to north for 2 weeks! Lovely country.
