ABOUT ME
Right now i am 31 i live in a small cabin, in north central california, and practice farming with my Girlfriend Zella. I spend my free time playing at building projects and art stuff. We sell food and crafts at the local farmers market which we help coordinate. I work on the side as a Handyman and am slowly trying to apply for medical school where i hope to learn the skills that will enable me to travel the world assisting those in need.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am looking to surf a few couches as i search for a medical school to attend. Or you could come on over to good old Amador city, Amador county, California USA, and crash on my couch and drink a beer.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had a great first experience couchsurfing in Lewisburg West Virgina where my lovely hosts Mike and Amy prevented me from messing up my med school interview by loaning me dress shoes and a belt. They showed me around the town and were all around rad people.Aside from using this web site I have spent several years of my life traveling around the U.S.A and internationally hitchhiking, backpacking, couchsurfing and wandering around.
Interests
Almost everything in the world is fascinating to me, so i'll list here the things I do most often. I love to make things, anything. Make everything. My goal for the last several years has been to aquire the skills that will enable me to make everything that i own and use. Now that i am several years into this project I have found this incredibly fulfilling and very very usefull. If you need help with a project I will help you. i do woodworking, sewing,screen-printing, painting, welding, play music, ceramics, anything practical anything craft like. I love reading going to school learning new skills and talking to people

Music, Movies, and Books
i listen to "all songs considered" from npr and that can sometimes be pretty good they also have tiny desk concerts where a band plays 3 songs live which can really give you a good feel for a lot of different music i recommend it to everyone. I also like coverville, look it up it's a great podcast. For easy funny reads i have recently been into "the number one ladies detective agency" really funny. for more serious thought i like investigative journalism/ sociocultural books like "the omnivores dilemma" "feakenomics" and most recently "tipping point" blah blah blah this list could go on forever
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I just hitchhiked across America this month ( california to north carolina), it was about my seventh time doing this but it has been almost 8 years since my last trip. i'll tell you the road is still open, full of incredible surprises and amazing people/landscapes. get out there and meet the people and see the land. Every hitching trip has been amazing and i have never experienced a bad ride.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am competent enough at a few things that i could teach.
Woodworking, construction, cementwork, plumbing, tile work, well actually anypart of building a house. screen-printing, playing guitar and probably a few other things i can't think of right now.
