About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finding out more about myself, and learning how to push against my comfort zone.
ABOUT ME
I am a Malaysian girl. I came to Munich to look for a job because I wanted to stay here. In March 2018 I will move back to Asia to look for a new adventure.
I am learning how to let go and chill, because I am too much of a control freak and is always trying to control my future. That is my new resolution: to let go of everything.
PHILOSOPHY
Each of us forms a single thread in the tapestry of the world. no one is more important than another because we all play an equal role in God's grand plan. Therefore we should be humble enough and yet not forget our role in forming the tapestry, for without the many many threads, the tapestry couldn't be formed.
And because there is not only one design of the tapestry, and the tapestry is still being woven by us, each and every living thing should give the best into our lives in order to do our small part in weaving this tapestry.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I believe in fate and destiny (in a totally chill and non-mystical way).
As in, I believe that every person we meet has a lesson to teach, or a guide, or an obstacle that allows us to contemplate our paths.
Interests
Fooooood. I enjoy eating and eating and eating. Usually the purpose of my travels are for the food, and then activities to fill time in between meals.
Rome, Italy: Pizza, pasta, wine, gelato, and the hunt for the best Tiramisu
Strasbourg, France: Bibelakas, baguette, croissants, pain au chocolat, linzer torte
Vienna, Austria: Wiener schnitzel, kaiserschmarrn, sacher torte, kaffe melange, apfelstrudel, tafelspitz
Jakarta, Indonesia: Bakmi, bakso, nasi padang
Of course, there are places that distracted me from food. And when I am not thinking about food, I am interested in history, anthropology, social behavior and psychology.
I learn yoga and i enjoy learning about the spiritual and physiological side of yoga.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books have always been an important part of my life. The types of books I read changes as I grow up. I have been a Goosebumps fan, Harry Potter fan (still am), Paulo Coelho fan, Classics fan, LOTR fan, well as usual I cannot remember anymore, but it has to have a story.
I love history, but have more preference towards Fairy tales, magic, and so on.
Aside from all that, the one Author I love is Oscar Wilde. His writings have always touched me.

Teach, Learn, Share
“Be helpless, dumbfounded,
Unable to say yes or no.
Then a stretcher will come from grace
to gather us up.
We are too dull-eyed to see that beauty.
If we say we can, we’re lying.
If we say No, we don’t see it,
That No will behead us
And shut tight our window onto spirit.
So let us rather not be sure of anything,
Beside ourselves, and only that, so
Miraculous beings come running to help.
Crazed, lying in a zero circle, mute,
We shall be saying finally,
With tremendous eloquence, Lead us.
When we have totally surrendered to that beauty,
We shall be a mighty kindness.”

What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to discuss, as soon as I get pass my initial shyness. And I love to listen about your life and your experiences.
What I have been told is, because of my tendency to ask lots and lots of questions (my favourite question is "Why?"), I help people think and take a closer look about their decisions and their lives.
So, let me do what I do best, allow me to ask you "wait, but why?"
