About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I would like to help others become more holistically minded through creating sustainable communities. Traveling, learning simplicity of heart, trying to serve others more and more. I am hoping to learn more about permaculture, holistic medicine (like Ayurveda), environmentalism, service, music, spirituality, healthy cooking, farm care, etc. I love helping others, cooking, making music, gardening, learning from others, reading, and so much more.

ABOUT ME

I am an open-minded, easy going, loving individual with a great desire to learn as much as I can. I have a degree in coastal biology and sustainability and hope to utilize this knowledge to help others progress in self growth, provide access to wholesome food, cultivate knowledge of total health (mind/body/soul) and allow low-income communities greater chances at happiness. I present workshops on bhakti yoga, mantra meditation, ecology and holistic living at music festivals all over Florida. I have taught guitar for many years now and also play sitar, harmonium and mridanga.

PHILOSOPHY

I practice bhakti yoga, or the yoga of love and devotion - and I enjoy connecting the messages of science, spirituality, nature and art. I have lived in a temple for the past year practicing this non-sectarian philosophy which stems for the ancient wisdom texts of India called the Vedas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done many amazing things in life, with many more to come but one recent experience was hiking the Incan trail all the way from km82 to km112 in Aguas Calientes, Peru. This was a town at the base of Macchu Picchu and it was the toughest hike I've done (especially with 30lbs on my back) in my life. So rewarding though, the views were breath taking and we followed train tracks through tunnels, scaled mountains, had wild dogs and horses follow us and keep us company for many kilometers, and arrived at night surrounded by a forest FULL of fire flies. It was a very beautiful sight and very challenging day of hiking for me but I would do it again
