One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my trip to Morocco, I got completely lost in the Marrakech medina. Instead of panicking, I followed the smell of freshly baked bread and stumbled into a tiny bakery. The owner didn’t speak English and I didn’t speak Arabic, but through gestures and smiles, he invited me to help him make traditional bread. I spent the afternoon learning his craft and left with warm bread and a friendship that transcended language.
