ABOUT ME

I'm being on a penniless trip to challenge myself. I'm from South Korea. I have been to England, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Morocco, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and I will go to Italy.

I used to be a missionary teacher in Chuuk, a part of Micronesia for one school year, teaching Math in English, and after that I also taught English to Korean students for a while and now I am in Europe. I just passed the interview for a graduate school so now I am a graduate school student with the major of international development. YEP!!!

I would like to be your nice friend! It is really fun to make a new friend(especially international friendsXD)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

One of my USA friends whom I met in Korea told me this. I was surprised that more people know and use it than that I had expected.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I have used several times and every time it was so nice. The people I met there are amazing and lovely! Not only saving money but also having an opportunity to make new friends is very good. Still the world is good to live. haha

If I'm done this travel, I want to do host people who like me, travelers.

Interests

I have tons of questions on everything.

After this journey, I'll go to a graduate school with the major in Public Health for Developing countries. I hope I can learn a lot from this trip. It won't be easy but invaluable in my life. I love to travel all over the world, and meet new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As I mentioned I was a missionary teacher in a certain unknown place. I hadn't been out of my country before and that was my first time to teach students. First, the environment was awesome. Any great nature pictures cannot be compared to the real nature there. Second, living in a different culture is exciting. With different food, clothes, hairstyle, everything was weird but as I got used to it, I could be closer to the local people.
And now I hope to experience another culture with new people.
