About Me

Hi! I'm studying in Canada as an exchange student since last January and I'm from Osaka in Japan. It is first time to live in a foreign country. I would like to know the different culture in the country and also to talk about Japanese culture. I'd love to interact with many people on couch surfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Now I have summer vacation until September, I'm planning to travel in Canada. The reason is that I lived in residence in university, but I had to leave after the semester. I don't have the experience of home stay, so I would like to communicate with people in Canada and make friends with various people.

Interests

My interest is to know what I didn't know before. So I like to know listening to someone talking about their culture or interest like that... Also, I like reading books and getting new knowledge.
And I like singing, so most favorite thing in Japan is karaoke. I love karaoke, so I can sing in all night long.lol

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is J-pop and Lady Gaga, Tyler Swift, and Katy Perry. I like listening to music.
I like music, so my favorite drama is Glee. Also, these days I'm addicted to watch Lost and Gossip Girl.
Also, I like musical! I saw MAMMA MIA in Toronto. It was amazing. I really want to see other Broadway musicals.
Most favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think living in a foreign country is an amazing thing. Of course, living overseas is not easy, but everything is new and different. Different culture is interesting and characters of people are different. Sometimes it is difficult to acccept different culture, but gradually I could accept it and broaden my view. Also, I can see my own country in different view from the one that I had in Japan.
Anyway, staying in foreign country is amazing for me!

Teach, Learn, Share

I've learned English in a university for learning foreign langage in Japan. By learning English, I came to have interest for foreign language and I decided to study abroad in Canada. I would like to improve English more and more and have freinds all over the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am not so good at cooking, but if you like Japanese food I would like to cook Japanese food.
