Couchsurfing is a great way to know a country, land and area not as a tourist, but from the underground, from the same level as the locals.
With Couchsurfing you can get to places you never imagined you'll get to, like a cool corner bar, a great and unknown viewpoint of a city or a whole beach, cleanest and quietest, just for yourself and your host. These are things you just can't reach through the normal books, applications and sites like TripAdvisor or Lonely Planet.
It's also a great way to learn the language, tradition and customs of a place, and share your's with the host.

I like things that involves thought, adventure, imagination and fun.
Generally, there are not things that do not interests me, but things that interests me more than others.
My hobbies, except the enjoyment and recreation that they yield, are unconsciously directed to achieve those elusive and precious moments, like finishing a great book with the feeble yet total sensation of astonishment, listening to a new and uplifting song of your favorite band in a random and great moment of your day, or blissfully drinking with your friends and having bursts of true, merry laughter from the depths of your hearts.

Books: The lord of the rings, Issac Asimov's books, Harry Potter, The Bible, philosophy, National Geographic.
And actually I haven't read a good book in a pretty long time, so if you have a good recommendation - enrich my world.

Movies: Forrest Gump, Pirates of the Caribbean, Memento, Sherlock Holmes, Inception, The Dark Knight, Matrix, Full Metal Jacket and more.

As a freshly discharged soldier that served his three years in the IDF and commended soldiers, I can provide an original and authentic point of view about Israel, the IDF, and the Middle East, and share my thoughts and feelings about them.
I can teach you Hebrew, Arabic and some Spanish, that I'm also learning myself.
As a person with a religious Jewish background, I can talk to you about Judaism, religion and secularism.
After more than half a year traveling in South America, I can share my stories and pictures with you and tell you about the many places I've visited and the experiences that I have with me.
As for learning, I'd like to improve my cooking, which is very important as a long-time traveler, know Spanish better and learn every other interesting or useful thing the host will be able to teach.
