Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a Protestant and want to see the Wittenberg door 500 years after the 95 theses were posted, turning the world on its head. Martin Luther is one of my favorite historical characters. I didn't want to stay in a hotel or Airbnb because I love to meet new people! I have never tried Couchsurfing before, but a friend told me about it, and I am absolutely intrigued.

Music, Movies, and Books

I find that something art is found in many places, regardless of its assigned genre or type. I like all kinds of music. Right now, I'm going through an Imagine Dragons phase, but you name a genre, I probably like it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I gained 100 pounds in two and a half years in high school so that I could play college football. I ended up playing at a D1 program, Mercer University, until I got 5 concussions and had to retire.

I love to talk about religion. I know this makes some people uncomfortable, but I love studying and getting opposing perspectives on what I believe to be one of the most important aspects of humanity. Atheist or theist, I would love to learn more about your religious practices and beliefs.
