we're newly married.
and we're taking on the world.

right now we're settling back in at home in little rock, trying to find work in fields we love and enjoying our first apartment together.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

we've only got a studio apartment, but if people are up for being cozy we're down too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

we've surfed throughout costa rica with some amazing people, and plan on surfing much more in the future.

sasha has been able to host once, which was of course a great experience, so we're looking to do it again sometime soon!

Interessi

sasha: newspaper. literature. adobe creative suite programs. good bad tv. drawing. vogue. real simple. adventures. rock and roll. dancing with my hands. dancing in general. the brownings. love. annnnnnd keats.
zac: music. i mostly like classical, reggae, bluegrass. And then that huge genre that includes bands like Dave Mathews, REM, Jack Johnson and Ben Harper...stuff like that. I like playing the guitar. I've only done the tiniest bit of hiking, camping, canoeing, climbing, etc. but I really enjoy it when I get a chance to. I like reading - all kinds of things, but mostly philosophy and history books. Sitting in hammocks. Playing with frisbees. Playing a game of chess, drinking a cup-o-tea, a great conversation-of course I love to travel.

music: sufjan seven swans, devotchka how it ends, she and him vol. one, beach boys pet sounds, and weezer pinkerton

books: gloria naylor mama day, exupery le petit prince, rilke letters to a young poet, kesey one flew over the cuckoos nest, salinger catcher in the rye, kerouac's infamous road book.

zac: I like a lot of the stuff Sasha put. Two authors I love are Jared Diamond and Thomas Cahill.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

we've looked over scotland from within the walls of edinburgh castle and climbed incan ruins at pisaq, ollantaytambo, and machu picchu. we traversed the costa rican country side and climbed our way up through nicaragua, el salvador, guatemala, and belize, in each place experiencing a little of the culture and meeting amazing new people. it's been a great adventure.

We both like to cook - but just simple things. Zac knows the guitar, and a ton about music and music theory. Sasha knows a decent amount about web design, and a ton about layout and photoshop. Zac loves philosophy. Sasha loves literature. We would love to help anyone learning English! - And we always love learning more about Spanish!
